No the dry cleaning process will not shrink your clothes. Synthetic fibers like polyester also respond well to dry cleaning, whereas they can retain oily stains after washing.
We use programmable dry cleaning machines that adjust carefully to different garment types. You can place your trust in our experienced dry cleaners who are fully trained in handling most fabric types.

Does dry cleaning shorten the life of a garment?
No, In fact dry cleaning extends the life of a garment by removing stains and ground-in dirt and avoiding the potentially damaging swelling and agitation promoted by water washing.
What is an invisible stain?
Stains caused by food, oil, sweat or beverages may become invisible when they dry out. But later on, when the heat step in the dry cleaning process is applied they will reappear. This is caused by the oxidation of the sugar contained in the stain itself. To increase the probability of removing the stain, we advise that you mark the spot where the spill occurred with a piece of tape to make the dry cleaner aware of the location of the stain, also note what was spilled and when and bring it to us as soon as possible.
How successful are you in removing stains from garments then?
We cannot guarantee that we can remove all stain types on all types of material. Of course it depends on the stain and material types, and how delicately or harshly, we can treat the material.
How do you get rid of stains then?
Dry cleaners use chemical reagents to remove different types of stains. Some reagents react with and can potentially remove large groups of stains whereas others are very specific and “attack” only one type of stain.
How do you know what to use to get rid of a stain?
It helps if you know what the stain is and can tell us what you think it is. If the owner does not know the origin of the stain our dry cleaner will use their experience and expertise to investigate and make an intelligent guess as to what the stains may be. Under some circumstances It may take three or four attempts before getting it right and removing the stain.
How long does an average dry cleaning job take?
This is dependent on how dirty a garment is together with its colour and the make up of the fabric. Loads are divided up into different types of fabric, color and dirt level much the same as an ordinary home washing cycle. It may take as little as 45 minutes. If the item is very dirty, stained or a difficult type of material it may take a few hours or days to achieve best results.
Why do things get damaged or fade after dry cleaning?
The most common reasons are:
A bad reaction to stain treatment.
The reagent has been dirtied or contaminated in some way.
The manufacturer has labeled the garment incorrectly.
The garment has been poorly manufactured.
Temperature has been too highly set.
The article was already damaged before cleaning but only came to light after being cleaned.
